Return & Exchange Policies


We want you to have the correct lamps for your home when you place your order, and when your item arrives to you. We are always happy to assist you with any questions, or concerns you may have before you decide to make your purchase. If you have any questions regarding our lamps, please do not hesitate to contact us. We strive to make your shopping experience with us a rewarding and happy experience. If you would like to return the lamp you purchased from us, we will make your return, or exchange as easy as possible for you in a professional and courteous manner.

Defects

We guarantee all our products against defects for 30 days. If you receive a defective lamp, we will pay all return shipping fees on the lamp and ship an identical lamp to you at no charge.

Damage Upon Receipt

In the rare occurrence a lamp arrives damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt. If an individual part or component of the lamp is damaged, that replacement part will be sent to you at no charge. In the event the entire lamp needs replacement, a full replacement will be issued at no charge. 

RETURN POLICY

We hope you love the lamp(s) you selected, but if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we'll gladly offer you an exchange or refund for *most of our lamps within 30 days of receipt. You are responsible for all return shipping charges and original shipping charges we incurred when we shipped the lamp to you. Buyer is responsible for insuring the item and providing us with a return tracking number upon returning the lamp back to the warehouse or manufacturer.

Lamps returned must have all original packaging. This includes all papers, parts and associated pieces. Lamps must be in new condition, with no alterations, or missing parts.

*The following are merchandise our manufacturers will not accept returns on (we will, of course, replace any lamps if it is damaged or defective upon receipt at no cost to you):

  • Steel Partners Inc custom crafted lamps (crafted by hand and made to order lamps with a finish and/or lens chosen by the customer).
  • Custom quotes, special discounts on orders of 10 or more
  • Lamps that are not in resellable condition
  • Lamps that are not in its original box with original packaging materials and assembly instructions (if applicable)
  • Instances where a Return Merchandise Number (RMA #) is required must be clearly written on the outside of the return box. Failure to do so may result in a refusal of the return.

Restocking Fees

A restocking fee may be applied to a returned item(s) for reasons other than damage or defect. We will inform you of the restocking fee amount, if applicable, with your return instructions via email. Any restocking fees are to offset fees assessed to us by our manufacturer or vendor.

PLEASE NOTE: MEYDA LIGHTING custom crafted lamps (crafted by hand and made to order lamps with a finish and/or lens chosen by the customer) charges a 30% restocking fee to any and all returns for reasons other than damage or defect. Return shipping costs and original shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer for reasons other than damage or defect. Color variation is not a defect nor a valid reason for waiving the restock fee.

Return Procedure

In order to return an item, you must contact us first. DO NOT SEND MERCHANDISE BACK BEFORE CONTACTING US. Our lamps come from different warehouses and vendors. We will provide you with an RMA #, if required, and the correct address to return your lamp, along with any other return instructions that will include a breakdown of original shipping charges you are responsible for, and any restocking fees that may be charged to us. Please return items within 14 days after contacting us. We want your return to be as easy and cost effective as possible for you.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued upon confirmation of receipt of your lamp by the warehouse or our vendor. The item will be inspected upon receipt. As long as the lamp is received in it's original condition, received in its original packaging, and sent to the correct address, you will be issued a refund for your original purchase price, less any restocking fees assessed to us, original shipping fees, or handling fees when the lamp was sent to you.

CANCELLATIONS

Please be aware that some lamps may have already shipped and may be in route to you. In this regard, cancellation fees may apply. Once a lamp has shipped, it can not be cancelled, rerouted or redirected. If you would like to return an item, we ask that you follow our Return Policy above. Do not refuse the delivery of a non-damaged lamp, as this may result in a restocking fee. A delivery refusal may also result in the loss of an item upon return transit, which may void any possibility of a refund. You will be charged for round trip shipping costs. This policy is implemented to protect you and us from unnecessary and avoidable costs. If a custom crafted lamp you ordered has begun production, a cancellation may not be granted. If your lamp has not shipped, or begun production, we will gladly cancel your order at no charge to you.
